About

I graduated in Software Engineering from Üsküdar University in Istanbul this year, and I hold the Pega System Architect 8.8 and Pega Senior System Architect 8.8 certifications. Those two came out of a traineeship at INOVAR, where I first built something real on the platform rather than reading about it.

Since then I have worked in two quite different places on purpose. At Architecht, the technology arm of Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank, I built a real-time AI-powered virtual customer representative and ran it end to end — architecture, frontend, backend, API integration, and the latency testing that made it usable. At Dedeman Hotels & Resorts I worked the head office IT queue, supporting properties in several countries.

I took the second one deliberately. It is easy to spend a degree only ever writing software and never watching anybody use it, and the support queue is where you find out which of your assumptions were wrong.

Running alongside all of it, I spent two years mentoring students at Üsküdar. It is the longest commitment I have made to anything, and the only part of my work that is mostly about people rather than about code — which turns out to be a useful counterweight to a degree spent largely in front of a compiler.

What I am good at

Systems thinking, mostly. Pega trains you to describe a process before you design a screen — what the case is, who touches it, what has to be true before it advances — and that framing has been more useful than any particular language. I work in Python, Java, C and C++, and I read and write Arabic and Turkish natively and English professionally.

What I am looking for

A first engineering role where I can keep building things end to end. I am based in Istanbul and I graduated in 2026. My résumé has the full record, and the fastest way to reach me is on the contact page.
